We are absolutely delighted to announce that Morpeth Group RDA (Riding for the Disabled) has been chosen to benefit from the next round of the Co-op Local Community Fund.
The funding round opened on 27 October 2019 and will close on 24 October 2020.
During this funding phase, Co-op Members will be able to choose us as their local cause.
Every time a member buys selected own-brand products and services, 1% of the money they spend goes to local causes in their community, so it’s important we raise our profile and encourage members to choose our cause.
We need all our supporters, volunteers, friends and family to become a Co-op Member. Please join online at https://membership.coop.co.uk/new-registration and select for Morpeth RDA Group as they chosen charity.
We have been lucky enough to receive a very generous donation from Hays Travel of Morpeth and it was lovely to welcome Marie and Gill to the yard to watch some lessons and receive the cheque from them.
Well done to Sam Critchlow (one of the instructors at Pegasus) and Bruce Henderson (whose daughter Lily-May rode for us at Hartpury) who both ran the Great North Run in under two hours to help raise funds for Morpeth RDA. You can still show your support by sponsoring them either via Bruce’s Go Fund Me page or on the paper forms available in the office.
Many thanks to Equine Touch for hosting a charity fund day at the Pegasus Centre on 21 July 2019 to help raise funds for RDA. The event was a great success and raised over £400 for Morpeth RDA.
We were very grateful to everyone who donated towards the costs of supporting our riders who qualified for the RDA National Championships at Hartpury in July 2019.
Belsay Horse Trials – 1st and 2nd June 2019
